Frequently asked questions

How much commission do agents earn?

Your rate is set in your agent agreement when your application is approved. Commission is earned on every referred customer who subscribes to a paid plan.

When do I get paid?

Commission is a one-time payment, confirmed once your referred customer subscribes and pays, and it qualifies after they remain an active, paying subscriber for 45 days. If they cancel, are refunded, or a payment is reversed within those 45 days, the related commission is reversed. Every payout status is visible in your agent dashboard.

Do I need sales experience?

No. Agents who already talk to carriers every day — dispatchers, consultants, insurance and factoring agents — tend to do best, experience or not.

Who can I refer?

Trucking carriers of any size, freight brokers, and drayage/intermodal operators anywhere in the US.

How do I track my referrals?

Your private dashboard shows every referral from first click to paid commission, updated in real time.

Sales Agent Program — Important Disclaimer

No guarantee of acceptance. Submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance into the Ziply Fleet Sales Agent Program. Ziply Fleet may accept or decline any application, and may suspend or end program participation, at its sole discretion.

Independent contractor — not an employee. If accepted, you will act as an independent contractor. Nothing in this application or the program creates an employment relationship, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise between you and Ziply Fleet. You are not entitled to wages, salary, benefits, insurance, workers' compensation, equipment, or reimbursement of expenses, and you are solely responsible for your own taxes, including self-employment taxes.

No authority to bind. Agents may not represent themselves as Ziply Fleet employees or officers, may not sign agreements, make promises, warranties, or pricing commitments on Ziply Fleet's behalf, and may not modify the terms of any Ziply Fleet product or subscription.

Compensation. Commissions, rates, and payment terms are defined exclusively in a separate written Sales Agent Agreement provided upon approval. No compensation is owed for this application itself or for referrals made before approval. Commission is a one-time payment earned when a referred customer subscribes to a paid plan, and it qualifies only after that customer remains an active, paying subscriber for 45 days. If the customer cancels, fails to pay, is refunded, or their payment is reversed (e.g., a chargeback) within that 45-day qualification period, the related commission does not qualify and is reversed — unpaid commission is forfeited, and any commission already paid may be clawed back or offset against future payouts. Once the 45-day period is met, the commission is treated as earned.

Conduct. Agents must comply with all applicable laws when promoting Ziply Fleet — including anti-spam and telemarketing laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA) — and may not make false or misleading claims about the product, pricing, or their relationship with Ziply Fleet.

We review every application and reply by email, usually within 1–2 business days.
